About Me

Dr. Smriti Naswa Singh is a highly accomplished dermatologist with a strong academic background and extensive experience in the field. She obtained her M.D. in Skin and Venereal Diseases from the prestigious Government Medical College in Vadodara, Gujarat, where she was awarded a gold medal for her outstanding performance.

Following her post-graduation, Dr. Smriti completed her Senior Residency at the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, which is governed by the Government of Delhi. During this period, she gained valuable practical experience in treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.

Dr. Smriti's dedication to professional development led her to pursue a Fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology from the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) at CMC Vellore. This specialized training further enhanced her expertise in diagnosing and treating skin and hair conditions in infants, children, and teenagers.

Apart from her focus on pediatric dermatology, Dr. Smriti has a keen interest in lifestyle medicine. She firmly believes that the health of the skin is closely linked to the overall well-being of the body and mind. Her approach involves identifying and addressing the underlying causes of skin diseases rather than merely treating the symptoms.

Dr. Smriti has actively contributed to the field of dermatology through her involvement in various academic and editorial roles. She has served as the Assistant Editor of the Indian Journal of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS, a PubMed indexed journal, and currently holds a position on its Editorial Advisory Board. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for esteemed journals such as the International Journal of Dermatology, the Indian Journal of Pharmacology, and the Indian Journal of Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

With a commendable track record of research and publications, Dr. Smriti has more than 17 works to her credit in renowned books and PubMed indexed journals. Her contributions to the field have been recognized through awards received at international and national conferences. She has also been honored with a fellowship by the IADVL in Pediatric Dermatology.

Throughout her career spanning over 10 years, Dr. Smriti has developed expertise in various aspects of dermatology. Her key areas of interest include core dermatology, pediatric dermatoses, vulval dermatoses, acne management, cosmetology, LASERs, and chemical peels. Her diverse skill set allows her to provide comprehensive care to patients of all age groups, with a special focus on improving the health and well-being of the younger generation.
