About Me

Dr. Kaushik S Bhojani is a highly skilled Consultant Rheumatologist and the Head of Rheumatology Services at Fortis Hospitals, Mumbai Cluster. With over 20 years of experience in clinical care and research, he is well-equipped to provide comprehensive treatment and management for a wide range of rheumatic diseases.

Dr. Bhojani specializes in the treatment of various rheumatic conditions, including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Spondyloarthritis (such as Ankylosing Spondylitis and Psoriatic Arthritis), Gout, and Auto-Immune diseases such as SLE (Lupus), Scleroderma, and Myositis.

He completed his MBBS from M.P. Shah Medical College in 1994 and went on to obtain his DNB from PD Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai, in 2001. He further pursued a Rheumatology Fellowship at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital under the guidance of Professor V.R. Joshi, a highly respected Rheumatologist in India.

Dr. Bhojani joined Wockhardt Hospitals, Mulund, in November 2005 as a full-time Consultant Rheumatologist. During his time there, he established a busy practice, engaged in clinical research, and taught Internal Medicine to resident doctors. He continued his association with Fortis Hospital, Mulund, as a Consultant Rheumatologist from 2010 to 2018.

In May 2011, Dr. Bhojani, along with his wife Dr. Neelu Bhojani (a Pathologist), and Dr. Shubhada Kalke (a colleague Rheumatologist), launched "Kennisha Rheumatology Care and Diagnostics." This exclusive center is dedicated to providing specialized care and improving the lives of patients with rheumatic diseases.

Beyond his expertise in treating rheumatic diseases, Dr. Bhojani has a special interest in rehabilitating patients with disabilities caused by long-standing arthritis. He actively participates in clinical research and trains post-graduates in the field of Rheumatology in India. He serves as an MUHS Rheumatology Fellowship Teacher at Zen Multi Specialty Hospital in Chembur, Mumbai. Dr. Bhojani has been a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, since 2008.

Dr. Bhojani has made significant contributions to the field of Rheumatology through his research. He has published 17 research papers in both national and international journals. Additionally, he has participated in various national and international conferences, presenting oral and poster papers on his research findings.
