Dr. Rima Chaudhari is a highly qualified neurologist specializing in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. She completed her D.M. Neurology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2014 and further pursued a clinical fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology from the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA in 2021.
Dr. Chaudhari's expertise lies in the management of acute and chronic neurological disorders, with a special focus on epilepsy, particularly medically refractory epilepsy. She is trained to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including children, adults, and geriatric patients, who experience various types of epilepsy and seizures such as focal seizures, seizures related to cortical dysplasia or tumors, drug-resistant seizures, and status epilepticus.
In addition to her specialization in epilepsy, Dr. Chaudhari is skilled in evaluating and performing a variety of clinical neurophysiology studies, including visual and auditory evoked potentials, somato-sensory evoked potentials, intraoperative mapping, and EEG interpretation. She is adept at interpreting EEG readings in critical care settings, ranging from young infants to adults. Dr. Chaudhari has also established a video EEG monitoring unit and leads a team that provides care for refractory epilepsy patients, including non-epileptic patients, and conducts pre-surgical evaluations for drug-resistant epilepsy patients.
