Dr. Sameer Sadawarte is a highly experienced Paediatrician with over 20 years of expertise in the field of pediatrics. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Neonatology and is the head of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Fortis Hospital, Mulund. Dr. Sadawarte obtained his MBBS degree from Amravati University, Maharashtra, and pursued DNB (conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi) during his training at KJ Somaiya Medical College, Mumbai.
To further enhance his skills, Dr. Sadawarte completed a rigorous 2-year fellowship in intensive care from B J Wadia Hospital for Children. Subsequently, he held the position of Chief Resident Medical Officer at the same institution. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was awarded MNAMS by the National Board of Medical Sciences in 2007. Dr. Sadawarte was also selected for clinical fellowship programs in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Critical Care Medicine in Pediatrics at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
Additionally, Dr. Sameer Sadawarte is an esteemed member of the editorial board for JIMLEA (Journal of Indian Medical Association Laboratory and Ethical Affairs) and IJCCM (Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine). His areas of expertise include Paediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Critical Care Medicine, making him a highly sought-after specialist in these domains.
