Dr. Jesal Sheth is a highly qualified and specialized pediatrician with a focus on pediatric intensive care and neonatal intensive care. She completed her M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and M.D. Pediatrics from M.P.Shah Medical College, Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, University of Saurastra in 2003.
After her postgraduate studies, Dr. Sheth pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care from B.J. Wadia Children's Hospital in Mumbai from 2005 to 2006. Following this, she underwent training in Cardiac Critical Care from Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore in 2007, specializing in critical care for pediatric cardiac patients.
To further enhance her skills and knowledge, Dr. Sheth pursued two years of fellowships in Pediatric and Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Medicine from the University of Toronto, Canada, from 2008 to 2009. Subsequently, she completed a Neonatal Intensive Care Fellowship of one and a half years from the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Canada, in 2010 to 2011. This fellowship provided her with comprehensive training in the care of critically ill newborns.
In addition to her expertise in intensive care, Dr. Sheth also received training in neonatal and pediatric critical care transports. This specialized training equips her to provide critical care support during the transport of critically ill infants and children.
