Dr Mehdi H Kazerouni is a highly qualified and experienced General and Laparoscopic surgeon.
He completed his medical education at Topiwala National Medical College and later pursued a Masters in surgery from B.Y.L Nair Hospital and Topiwala National Medical College. He gained valuable practical experience during his Rotatory Internship at B.Y.L Nair Hospital, followed by serving as a house surgeon at Bandra Bhabha Hospital and registrarship at M.W. Desai Hospital. To further enhance his skills, he underwent training in Basic Laparoscopy at the Family Planning Association of India.With a remarkable career spanning 25 years, Dr. Kazerouni has served as a consultant surgeon at several prominent hospitals in South Mumbai, including Saifee hospital, Masina hospital, and Habib hospital. Additionally, he efficiently manages the Surgical Department at Central Hospital and Nursing Home, where he has successfully performed numerous major and minor surgical procedures, totaling close to 6000 cases. His dedication to continuous learning is evident through his active participation in workshops and national and international conferences. Notably, Dr. Kazerouni actively engages in charitable work, volunteering at medical camps to extend medical assistance to those in need.
In his academic pursuits, Dr Mehdi H Kazerouni has contributed valuable insights to the medical community. He presented a seminar on the "Management of Head Injuries" to the Department of Surgery at Nair Hospital. Furthermore, he conducted a comprehensive study on "Ileal Perforations," examining the aetiopathology and management of fifty different cases of ileal perforation.
