About Me

Dr. Jayesh Sardhara is a highly skilled Senior Consultant in Neuro & Spine Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, with a specialization in minimally invasive endoscopic cranial and spine surgeries. With 15 years of experience, he has established himself as an expert in his field.

Dr. Sardhara completed his MBBS from MPSMC (MP Shah Medical College), affiliated with Saurashtra University in Gujarat. He then pursued an MS in General Surgery from the same institution. Furthering his education, he obtained an M.Ch. (Neurosurgery) degree and also served as a professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at SGPGIMS (Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences) in Lucknow. During this time, he gained extensive experience in advanced brain and spine surgeries.

Dr. Sardhara has received comprehensive training in minimally invasive spine surgery techniques from some of the world's leading centers, including Japan and Seoul, South Korea. Additionally, he completed an endoscopic skull base surgery course at AOTS (Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships) in Tokyo, Japan. He has also received training in epilepsy surgery at the Srichitra Institute in Kerala.

Dr. Sardhara's exceptional clinical and research work in craniovertebral junction spine surgery and complex spine deformity surgery has earned him numerous awards and recognition. In 2016, he was honored with the "Best Young Neurosurgeon India" award in Mumbai, highlighting his outstanding contributions to the field.

With an impressive research background, Dr. Sardhara has published 126 research papers and served as an editor for two books, as well as contributing chapters to 16 other books. He is currently the editor of the Journal of Spinal Surgery and holds a patent in his name. His dedication to professional development is evident through his membership in six national and international societies, where he serves as an executive member and lifetime member.
