About Me

Dr Meghal Sanghavi is a highly skilled oncosurgeon, specialized in breast oncology, with extensive training at Tata Memorial Hospital.

Her primary focus is on promoting cancer awareness and early detection, which she achieves through organizing lectures and conducting mammography camps.

Her professional journey includes obtaining an M.B.B.S degree from K.I.M.S. Karad and completing her internship at L.T.M.G Sion Hospital. Dr. Jayant pursued a specialization in oncosurgery at Tata Memorial Hospital through a three-year senior residency program and also completed a two-month Research Fellowship in Breast Cancer Services at the same institution. She further earned a D.N.B General Surgery degree from Dr. D.Y.Patil Medical College—Rajawadi Hospital.

Currently, Dr Meghal Sanghavi serves as a consultant oncosurgeon at various esteemed establishments, including Sanghavi Clinic in Matunga (E), Lion Tarachand Bapa Hospital & Research Centre in Sion (W), Hindusabha Hospital in Ghatkopar (W), Colony Nursing Home in Matunga (E), and Shree Manav Seva Sangh in Sion (W). She also acts as a Medical Advisor for the NGO Kasturi Foundation in Sion (W). Moreover, she gained valuable experience as a Clinical Assistant to Dr. Vinod Chandiramani in General Surgery at Hinduja Hospital.

During her tenure, Dr Meghal Sanghavi has been actively involved in imparting knowledge and skill development to medical professionals and students. She has assisted in conducting ward exams and yearly M.B.B.S exams for first-year residents, provided regular clinics, and supported housemen, interns, and M.B.B.S students in elective and emergency surgeries during the second and third years of residency.

With specialized expertise in gynecological malignancies (ovarian/endometrial/cervical cancers), colorectal malignancies, head & neck malignancies, and breast malignancies, Dr. Sanghavi Jayant has successfully performed surgeries independently.
