About Me

Dr Hamza Yusuf Dalal is a highly dedicated clinical Hematologist, Hemato-oncologist, and Bone marrow transplant physician with extensive experience in managing a wide range of benign and malignant blood disorders. He has successfully overseen and participated in over 600 bone marrow transplants for various conditions.

Dr. Hamza completed his MD in general medicine from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College and Sassoon Hospital in Pune. He has a particular interest in the management of elderly patients and obtained a post-graduate diploma in Geriatric Medicine from IGNOU University in New Delhi. He further specialized in Clinical Hematology (DNB) after gaining hands-on experience assisting and supervising a significant number of bone marrow transplants over a period of four years.

His medical journey began with an internship at Sion Hospital, UHC (Dharavi), and PHC (Vaitarna) in 2013. He then worked as a Junior Resident in the Department of Medicine in Pune from 2013 to 2016. Following that, he served as a Specialist Medical Officer in the Department of Medicine and Infectious Disease at Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Hamza continued his training as a Junior Resident in the Department of Hematology at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center, Narayana Health in Bangalore from 2017 to 2020. He then progressed to the position of Senior Resident in the same department in 2020.

Dr. Hamza Yusuf Dalal's expertise lies in the management of various benign and malignant hematological disorders, as well as hematological and oncological emergencies. He possesses comprehensive knowledge and skills in treating pediatric and adult patients with hematology/oncology conditions. He is experienced in peri-transplant management of patients and donors undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant, as well as performing bone marrow aspiration and biopsy procedures.
